Linda Gantt Sease

Linda Gantt Sease, 75, of Leesville, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Mrs. Linda was born in Lexington, SC, a daughter of the late Jacob Edward and Lorene Keisler Gantt. She was a faithful member of Hulon Baptist Church. Mrs. Linda was the owner and operator of H & L Tax Services from 1973 - 2020. She worked for Lexington School District 3 for over 25 years. Mrs. Linda had a generous heart and was know as "Maw Maw" by all her grandchildren and their friends. As matriarch of the Gantt family, she showed her love by hosting endless holidays at her home with her entire extended family in attendance.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Harry O. Sease; daughter, Lynn S. Smith; son, Larry C. Sease (Missy); grandchildren, Ryan (Marley), Chasity (Jesse), Tiffany (Chris), and Clinton (Emily); and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Charles Gantt (Susan), Frances Miller (WC), John Gantt (Vancella), Dorothy Gulledge (David), Wally Gantt (Amy); along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Gantt.

The funeral service for Mrs. Linda will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 22nd at Hulon Baptist Church with burial immediately following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Robert Patterson and Rev. Robert Culbertson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, July 21st, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be: Clinton Sease, Jesse Bickley, Ryan Smith, Chris Storey, Hoppy Boatwright and Forrest Gantt.
