Lisa Warren McDonaugh, 55, of Pelion, passed away Friday, November 26th, 2021. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Daniel Legare Warren and Sandra Canady Warren Vick. She was a graduate of The University of South Carolina, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting. Lisa was employed within Prisma Health as an accountant. She was very active in Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Lisa was a loving and dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, she was Logan's hero.
Surviving are her loving husband, Jim McDonaugh; her parents, Sandra Vick (Carl) and Legare Warren (Scottie); children, Lauren Childress (Ian), Logan Moore, and Mariah, Isaiah, and Rebekah "Becks" McDonaugh; one granddaughter, Niamh Graham; brothers and sisters, Laura Harris (Todd), Scott Floyd (Wendy), Stan Vick, Emily Barrett (Drew), DeeDee Simmons, and Ken Vick (Elicia). Also surviving are nieces Kimberly, Haley, and Kyleigh, as well as all other extended family and friends.
The service for Mrs. McDonaugh will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 4th, at Life Springs Worship Center, 5630 Platt Springs Rd., Lexington, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the McDonaugh family at 152 Forts Pond Rd., Pelion, SC to help defray funerary and medical expenses. Contributions may also be made to Logan's Heros, Lisa's favorite charity, helping fund research for finding a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophe, 600 Cedar Creek Rd., Swansea, South Carolina 29160.
