Lisa Annette Steele, 62, of Batesburg, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024. Born on June 16, 1962, in Newberry, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Darrell and Nadine Bedenbaugh Padgett. Lisa was a devoted homemaker who found joy in gardening and surrounding herself with beautiful flowers. She enjoyed her trips to the mountains and had a passion for shopping. Lisa attended B-L Congregational Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Roger Steele; her daughters, Kelly Steele Rice (Tim) and Abby Steele; six grandchildren, Lexy, Kimberlee, Haylee, AJ, Anthony and Joshua; as well as one great granddaughter, Liylla. Lisa is also survived by three brothers, Russell Padgett, David Padgett (Winn), and Michael Padgett; a brother-in-law, Jeff Steele; her furry babies, Newt Newt, Hunny, Mickey and Miss Kitty; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
