Lois Cornelia (Bobo) Smith

Lois Cornelia (BoBo) Smith, 81, of Monetta, entered into rest on Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was born and raised in Aiken County and lived her adult life in Ridge Spring and Monetta, SC. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Ridge Spring, SC.
She was most happy when she was in her truck on the open roads of the East Coast as she drove front car or rear car escort to oversize load 18-wheelers. She was also with the Spinning Department of Graniteville Company for many years. She also volunteered for the Monetta Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

Lois was the daughter of the late Mr. Bennie Lee and Mrs. Minnie Lee Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Lena Mae Salter, her brother-in-law, Mr. Tracy Salter, and her brother, Mr. John Clarence Smith.

Lois is survived by her sister, Mrs. Elma DuBose, of Ridge Spring, SC, her brother-in-law, Mr. Edwin DuBose, of Ridge Spring, SC, and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Jean Smith of Trenton, SC. She was cared for by her nephew, Mr. Eddie DuBose, of Ridge Spring, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Visitation will be held at 2:00 P.M. , prior to the service at Mount Pleasan
t Baptist Church with the funeral service starting at 3:00 P.M, conducted by Rev. Vollie Gibbs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 164 Mt. Pleasant Road, Ridge Spring, SC 29129.
