Louise Bedenbaugh Shealy

Services for Louise Bedenbaugh Shealy, 95, of Belvedere, SC, will be conducted at 2:00 Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Nazareth United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Ridge Crest Memorial Park in Batesburg, SC. Louise B. Shealy was the daughter of the late Mark and Mattie Bedenbaugh of Batesburg, SC and the wife of the (1) late PVT Seth Preston Scurry - killed in action at Leyte Island in the Philippines; (2) she was then married to the late Kearney Shealy of Leesville, SC. She has lived in Belvedere for the past 43 yrs. She was a member of Nazareth United Methodist Church in Batesburg, SC; she received a degree in cosmetology, later graduated and received a degree in nursing. She then became Administrator of the Saluda Nursing Home and later worked at and retired from the University Hospital in Augusta, GA. She was a long time member of the Ridge Spring Chapter of Eastern Star and a Past Worthy Patron for 2 yrs. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
