Loxley Thomas

Loxley Mark Thomas, 82, of Lexington passed away on June 19, 2023 at the family home in South Carolina. He was born November 8, 1940, in Madras, India to Denson Mark and Daisy Antoinette Thomas.

Loxley and Coral Philomena (Lanney) married on December 2, 1967. Together, they and their children voyaged to the United States from India, settling in Endicott, New York for over 40 years before moving to South Carolina. They celebrated over 50 years of marriage together.

In addition to his parents, Loxley was predeceased by his brothers, Desmond Thomas and Raymond Thomas, his eldest son, Donford Marquis Thomas, as well his eldest grandchild, Arielle Marie Brewer. Surviving in addition to his wife, Coral P. Thomas, are his siblings Clinton Thomas and Pansy Daniel; as well as his children, Lester Anthony Thomas and his son, Christian; Caron Maria Thomas and her children, Asia and Payton, and grandchildren, Grayson and Oliver; and Cassandra Judy Thomas and her children, Alaina and Camren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The life of Loxley was celebrated privately amongst his family members, whom was most dear to him. His love for Indian cooking and family were his greatest passions that he enjoyed sharing with those in his life. Loxley was a jack of all trades and was talented in building and fixing within the household. He was strong willed, quite humorous, generous, loyal, and brave.
