Mack Charles Hartley

Mack Charles Hartley, 80, of Batesburg, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021. A private memorial service will be held.

Mr. Hartley was born in Samaria, SC, a son of the late Silas Hartley and Lottie Hartley Senterfeit. Charles was an entertainer. He loved to go to the dirt track, fishing and cooking. But most of all he loved his family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be deeply missed.

Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Sandra Whitman Hartley; children, Michael Hartley (Melanie), Dena Smith (David), and Heather Hartley; grandchildren, Megan, Maggie, Mason and MaKale; great grandchildren, Travis and Gracelyn. He is also survived by step-grandchildren, Lindsay, Jena, Harley and Samantha. Also surviving are his sister, Rita Sox (Robert) along with many nieces and nephews and a long time friend who was more like a son, Frankie Harris. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Clark and his brother, John Hartley.
