Maggie Louise Rodgers Cockrell

Maggie Louise Rodgers Cockrell, 64, of West Columbia, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, April 30, at Northside Baptist Church with interment in Batesburg Cemetery with Rev. Jon Purvis officiating. Mrs. Cockrell was born in Ward, SC, daughter of the late Sim Brunson and Annie Ruth Eidson Rodgers. She was married to the late David Cockrell. She was a loving mother and wife. Surviving are her daughter, Sonya (Mark) Stoneburner; sister, Linda (Ronald) Corder; sister-in-law, Nell Rodgers; brother-in-law, Bo Baker; nieces and nephews, Carroll Powell; Beth Dailey; Pam Carson; Brian Baker; Michelle Chavis; April Wall; Michael Corder; Jason Rodgers; Stephanie Senn; John Lawson; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Eloise Baker; brother, Larry Rodgers; and nephew, Gary Baker. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 29, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
