Margie Darlene Miller

Margie Darlene Miller, 57, of Leesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Mrs. Miller was born in Saluda County, a daughter of the late Pete and Evelyn Warren Steele. She loved camping, dancing and singing, and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Ernest "Lil Red" James Miller; sons, Jacob Miller (Tonya), and Jason Willis; granddaughter, Brianna Haney; and great-grandson, Dustin Haney. Also surviving are a sister, Sissy Anderson (Robert); and a brother, William Steele (Patricia). In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Risinger, Elaine Crapps, Joyce Corder, and John Earl Steele.

A graveside service for Mrs. Miller will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 13th, at the Miller Family Cemetery, 340 Sandy Springs Ln, Lexington, with Pastor Judd Hook officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery and other times at the home of her son, Jacob Miller, 2060 Boyd Miller Cir, Leesville.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations to help offset funeral cost be made directly to Milton Shealy Funeral Home.
