Marion Reuter

Marion Gerald Reuter, 63, of Prosperity, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Mr. Reuter was born in Frankfort, Germany, a son of Miriam Derrick Reuter and the late Gerald Reuter. He enjoyed being a barber/beautician for 40 years and a friend to the community. Mr. Reuter especially loved his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Marsha Jones Reuter; children, Melissa Jones Gentry (Earl), Derek Jonas Reuter (Courtney), Korey Virgil Reuter; as well as his grandchildren, Zachary Cumbie, Haleigh Sexton (Edward), Taylor Cumbie and Kinsley Grace Reuter; and great grandchild, Jeremiah Sexton. Also surviving are his siblings, Connie Hartley, Phyliss Martin, Susan Hancock and Bruce Reuter.

A memorial service for Mr. Reuter will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 22nd, at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Roger Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 12 noon.
