Marjorie Lee Padgett

Marjorie Lee Padgett, 94, of Leesville, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 16, at Pauline Church of Christ with interment in church cemetery with Rev. Rick Farwell officiating. Active pallbearers are Marion Rish, Todd Oswald, Alan Rish, Dennis Rish, Lendel Hutto, Dean Padgett, Jim Padgett and Buddy Welch. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM Tuesday, prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Padgett was born in Leesville, SC daughter of the late Arthur Morris Rish and Myrtle Kennedy Oliver Rish. She was a member of Pauline Church of Christ. She was married to the late Everett P. Padgett. She was a Homemaker and Poultry Farmer. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Lynn Padgett; sisters, Emily Taylor; Irma Jean Gunter; Joyce Oswald; sister-in-law, Loretta McCall; Vanara Rish; special sister-in-law, Edna Padgett; special nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Leverene, Wilton and Thornwell Rish; sisters and brothers-in-law, Clara Padgett (Vance); Ellen Winnifred Rish; Agnes Gunter (Robert); Philip Taylor; Jimmy Gunter; Milford "Buck" Oswald; sister-in-law, Betty Rish. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Pauline Church of Christ or Palmetto Health Baptist -Parkridge.
