Mark Anthony Mabus

Mark Anthony Mabus, 56, of Batesburg, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 22, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment in Gunter Cemetery with Rev. Justin Eshleman and Rev. Mitch Bruner officiating. Mr. Mabus was born in Batesburg, SC, son of Connie Snelgrove Mabus Burkett and the late Bud Mabus. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and Bethlehem Baptist Church Choir. Surviving are his mother, Connie Snelgrove Mabus Burkett; wife, Trina Snipes Mabus; daughter, Kimberly Mabus of Batesburg; sister-in-law, Elaine Mabus; and nephew, Paul Mabus both of Elgin, SC. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Kim Mabus. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. Sunday, December 21, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at his home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 607 Bethlehem Road, Batesburg, SC 29006.
