Miguel Angel Rodriguez Sr.

Miguel Rodriguez, Sr., 79, of Pelion, SC, passed away on February 21, 2025. Born on July 24, 1945, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Petra Alejandro and Higinio Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez was a family man who loved his family first and foremost, no matter if they were near or far. He also loved his truck and attending the animal sales. And most of all, he loved his best friend, partner, and companion of 62 years, his wife.

Surviving are his wife, Luz Rodriguez; children, Miguel Rodriguez, Jr. (Debbie), Migdalia Medlin (Roy), Barbara Rodriguez, and Milagros Pacheco-Rodriguez (Javier); grandchildren, Britlani Lopez-Salley (Nick), Rico Rodriguez (Rachel), Kelley Lopez (David), Mariann Angelic Medlin, Roy Miguel Medlin (Makayla), Isabella Jewel Church, Michelle Pacheco; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel Angel Lopez (Kelley), David Immanuel Lopez (Kelley), Evelyn Terry (Mariann), Sawyer Bickley (Roy), Jada Van Sickle (Brittani), Charli-Kate (Brittan), Jay (Brittani), Kaiya Rodriguez (Rico), and Caius Rodriguez (Rico). Also surviving are his siblings, Delia Rodriguez, Blanca Rodriguez, Petty Rodriguez, Ampano Rodriguez, Milla Rodriguez, Millo Rodriguez, and many extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Victor, and a sister, Nicky.
