Nancy Dale Deloach Hook

Nancy Dale DeLoach Hook, of Batesburg, 88, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 17, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Jud Hook and Rev. Justin Eshleman officiating. Active pallbearers will be Nathaniel Temple, James Temple, Zach Hook, Andrew Jackson, Robert Beard and Paul Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adult Sunday School Class of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mrs. Hook was born in Saluda County, daughter of the late Judson and Ruth Attaway DeLoach. She was married to the late James W. Hook, Sr. She had worked at Winn-Dixie. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, James "Stormy" (Trudy) Hook of Lexington; Jud (Melissa) Hook of Batesburg; Joyce (Scott) Icenhour of Batesburg; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Diane) Temple; James Temple; Zach (Patience) Hook; Rachel Hook; Magan Hook; great grandchildren, Valerie and Ava Temple; siblings, Wilma "Dolly" Hook of Jacksonville, FL; Frances Beard of Harleyville, SC; and Jimmy (Nadine) DeLoach of Jacksonville, FL. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 16, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at Mrs. Hook's residence. Memorials may be made to the Agape Hospice House, 141 Stonebridge Drive, Columbia, SC, or Lexington County Meals on Wheels, 563 South Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072. The family will like to thank Agape Hospice House for their love and support during her final days.
