Nancy Shealy

Nancy Butler Shealy, 82 of Batesburg-Leesville, wife of Kline Broadus Shealy, died Sunday, February 5th at her home. She was born in Lexington County to the late Jonathon Charles Butler Sr. and Lenora Boland Butler. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Jonathon Charles Butler, Jr.

Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was happily retired from a long career as a Regional Manager with Stanley Home Products where she developed many special friendships around the country. She had a great passion for cooking and feeding many. Serving on the food committee at Still Waters Baptist Church afforded her the opportunity to fulfill that passion along with her many family celebrations at Lake Murray. As a result of her generous spirit, she was loved by many. Her influence and love for others will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Broadus, of the home; three daughters, Karen Addy (Joe), Lynn Shealy (Charles), Beth Worth (Tim); seven grandchildren, Jody Addy (Lynn), Allison Rawls, Jessica Barron (Josh), Amanda Harrelson (Kyle), Ashley Davis (Andrew), Allan Hatcher, Jake Hatcher (Diana); 12 Great Grandchildren, Raegan Addy, Reynolds Rawls, Reece Rawls, Riley Barron, Emma Barron, Evan Harrelson, Kade Harrelson, Grace Viseth, Elizabeth Viseth, Laken Hatcher, Abigail Hatcher, Liam Hatcher.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 8th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, 115 N. Pine Street, Batesburg with Pastor Barry Epps and Pastor Robert Culbertson officiating. Burial will follow at Batesburg Cemetery on Howard Street. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel.
