Peggy Alveshire

Peggy Ann Smith Alveshire, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, of Ridge Spring, departed from this life on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Mrs. Alveshire was 85 years old and was born in Saluda, SC. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Mabel McCarty Smith. She was a member of West Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, Gene (Sherry), Darrell, Andy (Sherri), Terry (Teresa) Gary (Tammie), Mike (Christy); daughters, Janice Alveshire, Cindy Wilson; 34 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Alveshire; son, Butch Alveshire; brothers, T.G. and Snookie Smith; and a sister, Donna Godwin.

The family will gather at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Christy on 204 Enlow Drive, Batesburg, SC, Saturday, March 27th at 1:00 P.M. Friends and family are welcome. The burial will be private.
