Richard Edmund Steele, 66, of Gilbert, SC, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024. Mr. Steele was born in Lexington County to Ola Mae Smith Steele and the late Edward Steele. He was a member of Ebenezer Southern Methodist Church and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Susan Steele; daughter, Sarah Hickman; sons, Jeremy and Joshua Steele; eight grandchildren; sisters, Cyndee Crout and Len Craps; along with many extended family members. Mr. Steele was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
