Ricky Bladon Forrest

Ricky Bladon Forrest, 69, went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 18, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 20, at Beulah Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery with Rev. Rick Scott and Rev. Jerry Houghton officiating. Active pallbearers will be David Cockrell, Sherman Cockrell, Chuck Adams, Terry Ouzts, Quintin Gulledge and Russell Long.

Mrs. Forrest was born in Saluda, SC, daughter of the late Harvey and Almettie Duffie Bladon. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She was employed with Maxway of Batesburg for 17 years.

Surviving are her husband, Frank C. Forrest; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa (Preduo) Mathis; BJ (Michael) Herlong; sisters, Claudean Cockrell; Sylvia Helms; and three grandchildren, Brent Adams; Breanna (Billy) Oswald; and Dante Mathis.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, September 19, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 404 Batesburg Highway, Saluda, SC 29138.
