Rita Nadine Steele Arrowood

Rita Nadine Steele Arrowood, 63, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023. Mrs. Arrowood was born in Whitmire, SC, a daughter of the late Conway and Nadine Bostic Steele. She was married to the late James P. Arrowood, Sr.

Surviving are her daughter, Crystal E. Barker of Clinton; grandchildren, Kyle Braswell, Devan Levister, Madison Barker, Cameron Barker, Michael Arrowood; great grandchildren, Braelynn Smith, Kameilla Braswell, Novaleigh Braswell, and Carson Levister; and a god daughter, Treasure Patton. Also surviving are her siblings, Pat Melton, Brice Steele (Brenda), Ronda Jackson, Michael Corder (Deborah), Vince Sanford (Wendy), Wyman Steele, Bryan Steele (Susan), Bit Steele, and Tammy Watson (David); along with many extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Andy Barker; and siblings, Rusty Steele, Edith Steele and Chavis Lee Corder.

A memorial service for Mrs. Arrowood will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 28th, at Breakthrough Tabernacle Church, 122 Whitmire Highway, Joanna, SC 29351. The Rev. Carl Moiser and Mrs. Kathy Moiser will be conducting the service. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home of Ms. Rita.
