Rodney Eugene Jones

Rodney Eugene Jones, 59, of Batesburg passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Prosperity, SC on November 25, 1964, he was the son of Ernest Jones and the late Eva Louise Jones. Rodney had a love for fishing and collecting coins. He was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need and never expected anything in return. Rodney loved his family and friends and will be missed by many.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his spouse of 27 years, Terr Lynn Shaw; son, Travis Eugene Jones; stepsons, Sgt. Marty Studdard and Sgt. Andrew Studdard (Alana); grandchildren, Mason Jones, Chelsea Jones, Piper Studdard, Sebastion, Leo and Alexander Studdard; brothers, Chris Miller, Adam Miller, Gary Hatcher, and Kenneth Jones; a sister, Latoya Lierman; along with a special cousin, Angela Williams and numerous cousins and extended family. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a sister, Brinda Keenan.
