Ronnie Heyward Williams, 51, of Batesburg, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024. Mr. Williams was born in Aiken County, a son of Mary Jones Williams and the late James Williams. He was a member of Faith Riders Fellowship Church. Mr. Williams enjoyed antiquing, going to the mountains, and fishing for trout and catfish. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, particularly his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Betsy Williams; two children, Jessica Padgett (Trevor) and Britney Williams (Ricky); 10 grandchildren, Stefany Shealy (Torey Adams), Erica Classen (Derby Tompkins), Johnny Merritt, Tyler Classen, Emma Padgett, Levi Williams, Savannah Padgett, Lylah Padgett, Sissy Williams and Wayne Williams; along with his great grandchildren, NyToria and Torey Adams, Jr, and soon to be, Boudreaux Tompkins. Also surviving are his siblings, Bubba Williams (Brenda), Ricky Williams (Britney), Randy Williams, Jamie Williams (Kim), Tammy Wingard, Debbie Williams, Angie Williams, Rhonda Majors (Walter), Shannon Williams and Charlotte Williams; as well as many extended family members. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Chandler Williams; and a brother, Danny Williams.
The funeral service for Mr. Williams will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 2nd, at Faith Riders Fellowship Church, 157 Frontage Road, Aiken, SC, 29805 with burial following at his home place. Rev. Brion Holland will officiate. Active pallbearers will be: Trevor Padgett, Tyler Classen, Johnny Merritt, Austin Smith, Wayne Williams, Steven Gunter, Derby Tompkins and Nathaniel Williams. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, March 1st, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, and the other times at his home.
