Russell Landon Icenhour, Sr., 54, of Leesville passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, following a brief illness. Born in Chester, PA, he was a son of JoAnn Julius and the late John T. Icenhour, Jr. Russell was the owner and former distributor of Pepperidge Farm Bread in the Lexington area where he was well known. He loved searching for the perfect antiques for his collection, listening to loud music, spoiling his dog, Lucy, and deer hunting. Russell was a man of God who loved his family and always had a smile.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Russell L. Icenhour, Jr. (Adriadne), and Joshua Icenhour (Kera) both of Elgin, SC; and Walt Lilly of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Mia, Sophie, Alandria, and Landrew Icenhour. He is also survived by his brothers, John T. Icenhour III and Scott A. Icenhour both of Leesville, SC; his partner, Debbie Kyzer; as well as many nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Alma Buchanan, William Buchanan, Phil Julius, Anna Mae Potter, Paul Potter, and John T. Icenhour, Sr.
The service for Mr. Icenhour will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 30th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home with Pastor Judd Hook officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning, from 3 until 4 P.M. A private family burial will be held at Mount Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Aston, PA.
