Sally Jean Geyer

Sally Jean Geyer, 80, of Columbia, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021. Ms. Geyer was born in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Jean Walter and Gertrude Lantz Arnold. She was married to the late Jerry Lynn Ellis and James "Jim" Geyer. Ms. Geyer grew up in the United Methodist Church. Along with her late husband Jim, she was a member of the Port Clinton Elks Lodge 1718 in Port Clinton, Ohio. Her favorite pastimes were playing scrabble and reading. Ms. Geyer was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Laura Ellis Walker (Jeff), Amy Lynn Freeberg (Todd); sister and brother-in-law, Linda Toy (Raymond); brother and sister-in-law, John Arnold (Kay); grandchildren, Ryleigh Walker, Triston and McKayla Freeberg. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

The service for Ms. Geyer will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 6952 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, South Carolina.
