Steven Thompson

Steven Isaac Thompson, 62, of Leesville passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021. Born in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, he was a son of Isaac Tom Thompson and the late Babette "Betty" Schroedel Thompson. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who never met a stranger. Mr. Thompson was a bail bondsman for over 20 years and had a love for animals especially farm animals.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Robbin Ann Ward Thompson; children, Ashley Thompson, Stephanie Thompson (Kayla), Robert A. Delp, Jr. (Valerie Dixon), Willie McCormick (Torri), and John McCormick. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; his brother, Larry Thompson (Annette); sister, Carmen Wages (Lonnie Wages); sister-in-law, Robin Thompson (Frankie Thompson) and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Zach McCormick and brother, Frankie Thompson.

The service for Mr. Thompson will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 25th at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, 115 N. Pine Street, Batesburg with burial to follow in Ridge Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service beginning from 2 until 3:00 p.m.
