Sylvia Ann Holsenback, 67, of Monetta, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was born in Monetta, SC and was the daughter of the late Gibson O’Neal Fallaw, Sr. and Ethel Dickert Fallaw. She was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church and a devout and faithful Christian who loved God and her family. She was a proud wife, mother and grandmother who was loved by all.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Wayne Holsenback; sons, Robert (Sara) Holsenback of Monetta, Anthony (Lana) Holsenback of Ward; grandchildren, Avery, Gracie, Michael, Vince and Madeline; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gibson O’Neal (Debbie) Fallaw, Jr., James W. (Shirley) Fallaw, Thomas (Sherry) Fallaw; Rev. Andrew (Velma) Fallaw; Randall Fallaw all of Batesburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cornelia (Bruce) Murray of Aiken, Nancy (Bill) Simoneau of Lexington. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Burgess and a nephew, John Thomas Fallaw.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 22, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, March 23, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery in Johnston, SC, with her brother, Rev. Andrew Fallaw and Rev. Preston West officiating. Active pallbearers will be Vince Holsenback, Michael Z. Holsenback, Anthony Wood, Johnny Salters, Jeremy Fallaw, Gregg Fallaw, Carly Alvarez and Wesley Adams.
