Thomas Alfred Truppi Sr., 82, of Batesburg, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 24th, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on Friday, October 23rd, 1942, in Providence, Rhode Island, Thomas lived a life by dedication to his family, work, and community. Thomas lived a life filled with love, laughter, and service. He was a devoted husband, a caring father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. His family was his greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

A machinist and carpenter by trade, Thomas was known for his precision, work ethic, and the invaluable mentorship he provided to those who worked alongside him. His career spanned several decades, during which he made significant contributions to his field, leaving a lasting legacy of excellence and integrity.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Donna Aidjian Truppi, who stood by his side throughout their many years together. He is also survived by his daughter, Diana Gelineau and her husband, Matt; and son, Thomas Alfred Truppi, Jr. He took immense pride in his grandchildren: Travis Gelineau, Jake Gelineau and his wife, Lindsay, whom he adored, and was the grandfather to Lily Truppi, and Adam Truppi. Thomas is also survived by his sister, Virginia Dodd; sister-in-law, Eva Truppi; and numerous nieces and nephews, who will remember him fondly.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, Victor Truppi (Virginia), Joseph Truppi (Roslie), Frank Truppi (Doris), Anthony Truppi (Angela); as well as his brother-in-law, Clifford Dodd.

In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held. His family wishes to thank all those who have expressed their condolences and support during this difficult time.
