Tommy C Adams, Sr

Tommy C. Adams, Sr., 69, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 5, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Virgil Bagwell and Rev. David Cockrell officiating. Active pallbearers will be Holden and Corbin Crouch, Casey Leopard, Patrick and Gideon Kirkland, Chad Adams and Zach and Bubba Blackman.

Mr. Adams was born in Saluda, SC, son of the late Thomas Harmon Adams and Mary Frances Cobbler Adams (Drayton) Smith. He worked at Union Switch and Signal. He attended B-L Congregational Holiness Church.

Surviving are his wife, Freddie Kneece Adams; daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie Karen Adams (Christopher) Crouch; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy Cary (Gloria) Adams, II; Jeremy Quincy (Johnette) Adams; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cordell (Rhonda Renee) Adams; Kenny Wayne (Donna #1) Adams; sisters and brother-in-law, Linda Burgess; Elaine (Harry) Langford; grandchildren, Karedith, Holden and Corbin Crouch; Sabrina (Wendell) Gantt; Katrina (Gene) Robertson; great grandchild, Darnell Gantt; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Marlene Adams.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 4, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to B-L Congregational Holiness Church Youth Ministry.
