Tommy Doyle Motes

Tommy Doyle Motes, 52, of Leesville, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday, February 4, at First Baptist Church of Lexington. Mr. Motes was born in Macon, GA, son of Leila Senn and the late Billy D. Motes. Surviving are his wife, Monica Motes of Leesville; mother, Leila Senn Motes of Leesville; sons, Connor and Phillip Motes; daughter, Hannah Motes; sister, Melanie (Mike) Kelly of Leesville; brother-in-law, Jonathon Smith of Urbana, Il; niece, Meagan Kelly (Brandon) Wooten of Lexington; and mother and father -in-law, James "Jimmy" (Vera) Smith of Saluda. He was preceded in death by his father; and son, Garrett Motes. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Tommy Motes's Children College Fund, First Citizens Bank, 129 North Pine Street, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006.
