Utricia Koon Shealy

Utricia Koon Shealy, 79, of Leesville, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 20, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Smith and Beverly Taylor officiating. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Shealy, Michael Shealy, Jay Schumpert, Austin Davis, David Koon, Freddie Smith, and Steve Smith.

Mrs. Shealy was born in Columbia, SC, daughter of the late Arthur Glenn and Ola Pearl Adams Koon. She was a member of Union Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her son, Ronald James Shealy (Kim); daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Shealy Schumpert (Tim); Amy Shealy Davis (Troy); Jennifer Shealy Bryant (Fiancé, Greg Hartley) ; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Morgan Koon Shirley (Richard); brother and sister-in-law, Larry Donald Koon (Helen); sister-in-law, Wilma Koon; grandchildren, Brandon Shealy; Michael Shealy; Jay Schumpert; Amanda Schumpert; Bryana Bryant; Gatlin Bryant; Austin Davis; Leslie Davis; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters, Sarah Koon Caughman; Naomi Koon Smith; Dolorise Koon Graham; Gladys Koon Kaminer; brothers, Pascal “Pat” and Rufus Glenn Koon.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 19, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, other times at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Tim Schumpert.
