Vaughn Pierce Shealy

Vaughn Pierce Shealy, 53, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, at Clydes Chapel Southern Methodist Church in Batesburg. Pastor Greg Williams will officiate. A private burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Clydes Chapel Southern Methodist Church Building Fund, 2001 Spann Rd, Batesburg, SC 29006.

Born January 14, 1963 to the late Richard W. and Loreita B. Shealy, Vaughn was a member of Clydes Chapel Southern Methodist Church. He served in the National Guard Saluda Unit.

Surviving are his children, Renee, Martin, and Lillian; grandchildren, Ty’Rek, Johnny, and X’Zavier LaGroone; sisters and brothers Dianne (Charles) Cochran, Caryn (Frankie) Cockrell, Claudia Cochran, Ricky (Donna) Shealy, Charlie (Debbie) Shealy, Owens (Marcia) Shealy, John (Debra) Shealy, Tim Shealy, Lora Kutz, Donnie (Alicia) Shealy, Jenny (Leonardo) Joaquin; and special friend Sarah Williams. He was predeceased by a daughter Felisha.
