Vicki Wooten Rowland

Vickie Wooten Rowland, 74, of Saluda, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Saturday March 7 at Milton Shealy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rowland was born in Gastonia, NC, daughter of Merneil Harvell and the late James R. Wooten. She was married to the late Bert Rowland. Mrs. Rowland enjoyed reading books and watching movies. She loved the outdoors and shopping at Goodwill.

Surviving are her mother, Merneil Harvell; sons, David Rowland, Michael (Dora) Rowland, Aaron (Donna) Rowland; brother, Jimmy Wooten; sisters, Cheryl Philbeck, Cathy Mullis, Brenda Edgar; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Mark and Phillip Rowland; brother, Tood Wooten; and sisters, Murray Hosier, Carolyn Jones and Lisa Miller.
