Walter Eugene Mobley

Walter Mobley, 57, of Pelion, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 6, 2018 at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held after the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Mobley was born in Florence, SC, son of the late Robert and Nell Mobley. He was employed for C.R. Jackson for 18 years. He was a loving and compassionate husband, dad and PaPa.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Kathy Mobley of Pelion; children, Erik (Michelle) Mobley of Pikeville, Kentucky, Zack (Karlie) Mobley of Lexington, Kayla (Billy) McLendon of Lexington; grandchildren, Taylor Zane, Ryan Bryce, Elliot Harper; and brother, Dwight Mobley of Florence. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Mobley.
