Wesley Michael Neel

Wesley Michael Neel, of Batesburg, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 16, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Philippi Baptist Church with Rev. Nancy Reed and Rev. Josh McClendon officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Duane Baughman, Jesse Baughman, Brenn Simmons, Nick Gillian, Marty Gillian and Brandon Jones.

Wesley was born in Aiken, SC, son of Christopher Michael and ShayLa Nickole Chapman Neel.

Surviving are his parents, Christopher and ShayLa Neel; maternal grandparents, Kimberly Chapman; Jeffrey and Joni Chapman; paternal grandparents, Brian and Ann Jones; maternal great grandparents, Wyman & Kathy Fink; Leon & Diane Baughman; Barbara Jean Goodman; paternal grandmother, Mary Sherlock; maternal aunts, Mary Owens; Kaitlyn and Adrienne Beck; paternal aunts and uncles, Jennifer Neel; Brandon and Mary Catherine Jones; Heather Jones; and many extended family members.
