Young Senterfeit

Young William Kirby Senterfeit, 50, of Leesville passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at his home. Born in Columbia, SC he was the son of Connelly Senterfeit and the late Martha Vickers Senterfeit. Kirby had a passion for music that lives on in his family, more than anything he loved to sing, laugh, and share that joy to his children and family. He had a deep fondness for the outdoors and nature, as well as a talented gardener. Known by his loved ones as a calm, fun loving, gentle man. Kirby made his living doing honest work with his hands as a contractor, jack of all trades specializing in flooring installation. He was a friend to all, and will be missed dearly by all that shared life with him.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Bridget Risinger Senterfeit; a son, Dylan Senterfeit (Chelsie); step daughters, Jessica Abney and Jordan Abney; and a grandson, Gage "Buckshot" Craps. He is also survived by his sisters, Andrea Senterfeit and Kelly Senterfeit; nieces, Jennifer Barnes and Jordan House; and other extended family.

The service for Kirby will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 19th at Milton Shealy funeral home with Mrs. Beverly Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
